  • This is already the eighth violation for speeding for the player.

29-year-old Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett was stopped by police for exceeding the speed limit on the highway near Cleveland. The incident occurred on Saturday morning when he was driving a Ferrari at a speed of 100 miles per hour in a zone where the limit is 60 miles per hour.

Garrett received a fine of $250 and may appear in court on Thursday, but he can pay the fine without being present in court. The police stopped him after the team returned from a victory over the Carolina Panthers.

This incident is already the eighth speeding violation for Garrett since the moment of his draft in 2017. Earlier, in 2022, he was involved in an accident, as a result of which he sustained injuries, flipping his Porsche.

The Browns did not comment on this incident. The team plans to travel to Philadelphia for joint practices and a preseason game against the Super Bowl champions.
