AI companies offer their technology to the U.S. government for one dollar
- Anthropic and OpenAI are offering AI solutions for the government for $1
- Both companies are trying to establish themselves in the market for government services
- Altman believes that AI will change the perception of reality

In recent days, AI companies like Anthropic and OpenAI have been actively engaging to attract government institutions, offering their solutions at a symbolic price of one dollar. Anthropic announced that their Claude model will be available for use across all three branches of the U.S. government, including legislative and judicial. This follows a similar move by OpenAI, which previously offered ChatGPT Enterprise only for executive agencies.
These companies hope that the low cost of services will help them establish a foothold in the government services market. As the U.S. government indicates, current IT spending and related investments exceed $100 billion. Both companies, Anthropic and OpenAI, have already secured contracts worth up to $200 million for modernization of the U.S. Department of Defense.
Anthropic also noted that their technologies meet the highest standards of security, allowing them to use their systems for processing sensitive data. This anticipates the integration of AI into the workflows of government institutions with the support of technical specialists.
Currently, OpenAI's CEO, Sam Altman, expressed the thought that with the development of artificial intelligence technology, consumers will increasingly adapt to the new standards of reality, particularly when it comes to content generated by AI. This may influence how people perceive real and artificial images in the future.
