In Budapest, Hungary, Mondo Duplantis has broken his world record in pole vaulting with a height of 6.29 meters during the memorial of István Gyulai in the indoor arena. The Olympic and world champion added a centimeter to his previous record, which he set in June at the Diamond League meeting in Stockholm.
This is already the 13th world record for the 25-year-old Swede. Duplantis achieved the new record height during his second attempt.
