Zelensky reports that Russia's losses are three times higher

  • Russia's losses amount to approximately 1000 personnel per day.
  • The ratio of losses between Ukraine and Russia is 1 to 3.
  • The president called for financing of drones from European partners.

This is reported by Ukrinform, Interfax Ukraine.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the losses of Russian troops at the front are significantly higher than those of the Ukrainians. According to him, Russia suffers nearly 1000 losses daily, of which 531 are killed and 428 are wounded.

Zelensky provided this data on September 11, along with which in Ukraine there were 340 losses: 18 killed, 243 wounded, and 79 missing without a trace. Thus, Russia's losses are three times greater than those of Ukraine.

The president also noted that the ratio of artillery losses is 1 to 2.4 in favor of the enemy, while in terms of air defense, Ukrainian forces have an advantage of 1 to 1.4. However, according to his words, Ukraine lacks the funding to increase the number of drones, and thus this ratio remains the same. Zelensky is counting on additional support from European partners.

Overall, from February 24, 2022, to September 12, 2025, the total combat losses of Russian troops amount to approximately 1,065,220 personnel, of which 980 were killed over the last 24 hours.
