Travis Kelce, the star of the Kansas City Chiefs, spoke about his experiences over the last two seasons, indicating that his game did not meet his high standards. The reason for this has been new injuries and increasing popularity, particularly due to interactions with pop-star Taylor Swift.
Kelce, who is preparing for his 13th season, noted that his new commitments, such as participating in the podcast "New Heights" and acting projects, have impacted his productivity on the field. "Last season I earned 823 yards, which is the lowest figure since 2014," he said in an interview for GQ.
Kelce also appeared on the cover of the September issue of GQ magazine, where he presented new images, including photos with a helicopter in front of Florida's skyline. He stated that his goal for this season is to surpass his previous achievements and win a fourth Super Bowl trophy, following his team’s appearance in the 2023 finals.
Speaking about his motivation, Kelce emphasized that his teammates encourage him to work even harder. "I have a great motivation to show myself this year for my fans," he said.
The 2025 season begins for Kelce and the Chiefs on September 5, when they will play at home against the Los Angeles Chargers.
