In Ukraine, the possibility of exchanging territories with Russia is officially prohibited

State officials of Ukraine, including the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk and President Volodymyr Zelensky, stated that the exchange of territories with Russia is impossible. They emphasized that this violates the territorial integrity of Ukraine, which is prohibited by law.
Stefanchuk noted that even a referendum cannot be used to change the territorial status of the country. According to him, such a position is enshrined at the constitutional level. He added that foreign politicians should take this information into account.
President Zelensky also provided information on the readiness for the exchange of territories, explaining the preparation of the informational field regarding this issue. He noted that he does not have the right to cede the country, and the issue of exchanging territories is closely related to the guarantees of security for Ukraine.
Earlier, U.S. President Donald Trump expressed the idea of a possible exchange of territories, however, Ukrainian leaders clearly stated that territorial issues are enshrined in the Constitution, and Ukraine will not cede its land.
