G Gianluigi Donnarumma officially announced his departure from the club Paris Saint-Germain, completing a significant stage in his career. The Italian goalkeeper, who was recently distanced from the team by head coach Luis Enrique, shared a simple message via Instagram on his social media on Thursday evening.

Donnarumma wrote: "From the first day I gave my all — on the field and off it — to earn my place and protect the colors of Paris Saint-Germain. Unfortunately, someone decided that I could no longer be part of this team and accompany it. This truly disappoints me."

He also expressed a desire to meet with the fans personally at the Parc des Princes, but acknowledged that this might not happen: "If I do not get that opportunity, know this — your support and kindness mean a lot to me. I will never forget this. Emotions, magical nights, and all of you who made me feel at home will remain in my heart."
