The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) is actively conducting operations that include strikes on Russian military objects. According to SBU Chief Vasily Maliuk, Ukrainian forces have already struck over 200 targets on the territory of Russia.
In detailing the operational activities of the SBU, Maliuk noted that the main targets include military-industrial objects, logistics centers, and command points. Among the successful attacks, he highlighted the destruction of ammunition depots in Toropets, where a stockpile of 120-mm mines was destroyed. For this, 120 drones were used.
Operation "Pavutina" has become another example of the successful activities of the SBU, which carried out strikes on Russian airfields on June 1. According to Maliuk, during this operation, 41 Russian aircraft were eliminated, including strategic bombers. The operation lasted for a year and involved complex logistics and preparation.
Maliuk emphasized that the primary goal is to ensure support for Ukrainian forces at the front. The SBU is also actively involved in combat actions along the entire front line, utilizing new tactics, including drone strikes.
Operation "Pavutina" required significant resources in planning and execution, including the delivery of drones to the enemy's territory, which was complicated by corruption in Russian customs. However, according to Maliuk, this allowed for the possibility of conducting a successful attack on Russian military objects.
These operations demonstrate the increasing capability of Ukrainian forces to deliver strikes at great distances, which has a significant impact on the dynamics of the conflict.
