In Williamsport, Pennsylvania, the 2025 Little League World Series will kick off from August 13 to 24. The tournament will feature 20 teams: 10 from the USA and 10 international.

This year, the documentary film "Big Dreams: Little League World Series 2024" will air on ESPN, showcasing the stories of young athletes learning to deal with challenges. The film reveals how children cope with pressures and fears.

The Cardenales Little League team from Venezuela, representing Latin America, received a special exemption due to immigration restrictions. They were granted permission less than a week before their first match against Puerto Rico.

The Irmo Little League team from South Carolina secured their spot by defeating the reigning champion Lake Mary, and will now represent the southeastern region of the USA.

In the international competition, Taiwan hopes to return to its former glory, as the Tung-Yuan Little League team has 17 titles, with the last one won in 1996. Taiwan is preparing to meet Mexico in their first match.

Each team has its own history and dreams about competing in this prestigious tournament. The competition promises to be intense and captivating, as participants will compete for the championship title in 38 games over 11 days.
