Beyoncé received her first Emmy Award for costumes in the show "Beyoncé Bowl," which took place during the Christmas NFL match between Baltimore and Houston on December 25, 2024. This show marked her debut in performing a song from her new album "Cowboy Carter."
The award was presented in the category "Outstanding Costumes for Variety, Nonfiction or Reality-Competition Shows," where Beyoncé shared the win with a team that included Shiona Turini, Eric Ryans, Molli Peters, Chelsea Stubble, and Timoti White.
This award is the first win for Beyoncé after ten previous nominations. She has also been nominated for two additional Emmy Awards for "Beyoncé Bowl": "Outstanding Variety Special" and "Outstanding Directing for a Variety Special," which will be awarded on September 6-7 at the ceremony in Los Angeles.
