Two Russian Iskander Missiles and 32 Drones Destroyed

• During the night of September 12 to 13, 34 aerial targets were destroyed.

The Ukrainian military intercepted two ballistic missiles Iskander-M/KN-23 and 32 drones launched by Russia during the night of September 12 to 13. The attack was carried out from various directions, including Kursk, Prymorsko-Akhtarsk, and Shatalovo.

From the beginning of the attack actions at 21:00, Russian forces launched 49 Shahed-type drones and various other drone models, which aimed to strike Donetsk, Sumy, and Chernihiv. The ballistic missiles were targeted at the Poltava region.

According to previous data, as of 08:00 on September 13, Ukrainian forces had successfully neutralized 34 aerial targets, including two Iskanders and 32 Shahed drones in the northern and eastern regions of Ukraine. A total of 17 strikes were recorded against drones at 15 locations.

In response to the attack, aviation was deployed, along with anti-missile units, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups.

Earlier that night, during the attack on Kremenchuk, Poltava region, there were explosions. Prior to this, air defense forces had warned about possible threats from ballistic missiles in several regions, including Poltava.
