Ukrainian Defenders Halt Attack by Russian Forces in the Pokrovsk Direction

The Ukrainian defense forces successfully halted the attack of Russian occupiers in the Pokrovsk direction, reported the commander of the National Guard, Oleksandr Pivnenko.

According to his statement, the Russians attempted to break through in the area of responsibility of the National Guard brigade "Spartan." The air reconnaissance confirmed the movement of enemy armored personnel carriers. During professional actions, one Russian subunit was destroyed by Ukrainian forces, and the attempt to attack was repelled.

The military operationally responded to the enemy's equipment and personnel with the help of drones and artillery. Over the last day, the guardsmen repelled 27 attacks from the enemy along the front line. As a result, three units of armored vehicles, all artillery systems, two mines, nine units of automotive equipment, and two ammunition depots were destroyed.
