Romanian President to Visit Kyiv This Autumn at the Invitation of Zelensky

President of Romania Nicușor Dan plans to visit Kyiv this autumn at the invitation of his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky. He announced this in his Twitter.

Dan emphasized that it is important to achieve lasting peace in Ukraine and to end the ongoing blockade from Russia. He also stressed that Romania supports the US President Donald Trump's efforts towards establishing a ceasefire, but peace must be achieved at the negotiating table with Ukraine.

President of Romania emphasized that the agreement must be fair, sustainable, and stable. Romania supports the sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity of Ukraine. As a neighbor and partner, Romania will continue to support Ukraine in all efforts to achieve a just peace for its people.

According to Dan, Ukraine's security is closely linked to the security of the Black Sea region and Europe as a whole.

Earlier, it was reported that at the beginning of September, Ukraine, Moldova, and Romania agreed to establish a regional cyber-alliance, which will help countries counter cyber threats that arise through the Russian regime.

Recently, the Romanian Minister of Internal Affairs Oana-Silvia Choi visited Kyiv, where she held a series of meetings and visited the children's hospital "Okhmatdyt," which Russia has attacked for more than a year.
