Fenerbahçe defeats Feyenoord and advances to the Champions League playoffs

Under the leadership of José Mourinho, Fenerbahçe advanced to the Champions League playoffs, defeating Feyenoord 5-2 in the second match of the third qualifying round. Mourinho's team managed to overcome a two-goal deficit after losing the first leg in the Netherlands 1-2.
After Feyenoord opened the scoring in the 41st minute thanks to defender Cyuyoshi Vatanabe, Fenerbahçe quickly equalized. In the 44th minute, Arthur Brown scored the first goal, and shortly before halftime, Hakan Duran put the team ahead. In the second half, Brazilian midfielder Fred, who previously played for Shakhtar, increased the lead, and later Talisca secured the win.
With this victory, Fenerbahçe overall won 6-4 on aggregate over the two matches and will now compete against Benfica in the playoffs. The first match will take place in Istanbul, and the return leg is scheduled for September 27 in Lisbon. Benfica also advanced to the playoffs, defeating Nice 2-0.
Other teams that also advanced to the playoffs include Copenhagen, which defeated Malmo 5-0, and Karabakh, which beat Shkendija 5-1. Dynamo Kyiv lost to Paços 0-2, finishing overall 0-3.
