Dillian Whyte, who is set to meet Moises Itaum on Saturday, expressed support for a potential fight between Anthony Joshua and Deontay Polam. Whyte stated that if this fight looks beneficial and brings a profit, then why not.

Whyte, who is 37 years old, believes that Joshua, who two years ago became the world champion, could earn more money in this fight than in some of his title defenses. "It's business, man. If it makes sense and brings in money, then why not?" – said Whyte.

Joshua's promoter, Eddie Hearn, confirmed that negotiations are ongoing regarding a potential fight with Polam. According to Hearn, initially, it looked like a pair-off, but now he understands that Pol believes he can outmaneuver Joshua.

Whyte also expressed a desire to back Joshua for his 2015 loss in the fight when he suffered a knockout in the same round. "I would like to have the opportunity to correct my mistake," – he added.
