Real Madrid is preparing for the new 2025-26 season, having changed coaches: Xabi Alonso replaces Carlo Ancelotti. During the summer transfer window, the club signed new players for a total of over 180 million euros. Among them are players like Trent Alexander-Arnold, Dean Huysen, Alvaro Carreiras, and Franco Mastantuono. All the newcomers are under 22 years old, which indicates an investment in promising players.
After the last season, when Real did not win any trophies, the club has great ambitions. The main goals are to win La Liga and the Champions League. Although the team suffered a defeat of 4-0 to PSG in the semifinals of the club world championship, positive results in future matches are crucial for maintaining confidence in the new strategy.
Recently, two key defenders returned from injury: Eder Militao and David Alaba, which significantly boosts the team’s chances of success. Militao opened the scoring in a friendly match against VSG Tyrol, while Alaba, who plays in a new position for himself as a center-back, also showed a strong performance.
The La Liga season starts on August 15, when Real hosts Osasuna at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium. The club is looking forward to positive changes in the game under the leadership of Alonso, who aims to instill a new style of play and ensure an emotional connection with the fans.
