Three children are charged with the murder of a man on the Isle of Sheppey

Three children have been charged with the murder of a man on the Isle of Sheppey. Two boys, aged 14 and 15, and a 16-year-old girl were arrested by Kent police following an incident that occurred in the Warden Bay Road area of Leysdown-on-Sea on Sunday evening.

The man, Alexander Keshford, 49, died at the scene of the incident, where police and ambulance services were called shortly after 7:00 PM. He sustained serious injuries.

Those arrested, all from London, were detained shortly after the discovery of Keshford's body. Their identities cannot be disclosed due to their age. A 12-year-old girl, arrested in Basildon, Essex, on Tuesday, also remains under police custody while investigations continue.

Detectives have urged witnesses to the incident to come forward to the police.
