Hisense introduces a 116-inch RGB MiniLED TV for $30,000

  • Hisense 116UX with RGB MiniLED available for $30,000
  • 100UX version costs $19,999
  • Televisions provide up to 8000 nits of brightness

This is reported by The Verge, CNET.

The company Hisense has announced the launch of its new 116UX television with RGB MiniLED backlighting. This television, presented at CES 2025, is now available for the price of $29,999 in select national retail chains, such as Best Buy.

The 116-inch television has a 4K resolution and is capable of reproducing 95% of the BT.2020 color gamut thanks to RGB MiniLED technology, which ensures improved color accuracy compared to traditional Mini LED televisions. Hisense has also introduced a 100-inch model, the 100UX, which costs $10,000 less - $19,999.

Both televisions support HDMI 2.1, Wi-Fi 6E, and, presumably, operate on the Google TV operating system. The maximum brightness of the television reaches 8000 nits, which is one of the highest ratings on the market.

These models compete with similar offerings from Samsung and other manufacturers, who are also looking to capture the large television market.
