Samsung presents new monitors for gamers with OLED technology
- Samsung has introduced three new Odyssey monitor models.
- It includes the first OLED monitor with a refresh rate of 500 Hz.
- The new Smart Monitor M9 features AI capabilities for image optimization.
Samsung announced three new models of Odyssey series monitors, among which is the first in the world OLED monitor with a refresh rate of 500 Hz. The 27G60SF model has a 27-inch screen with a resolution of QHD (2560 x 1440) and an ultra-fast response time of 0.03 ms.
This OLED monitor supports VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification, ensuring high image quality. It also utilizes Quantum Dot technology, which enhances brightness and color accuracy, achieving peak brightness of 1000 nits.
In addition, Samsung has introduced the Odyssey G7 models with 37 and 40-inch diagonals. Both monitors feature a 1000R curvature, a 1 ms response time, and support AMD FreeSync Premium Pro. The 37-inch model has a resolution of 4K UHD (3840x2160) and a refresh rate of 165 Hz, while the 40-inch model has WUHD (5120x2160) resolution with a refresh rate of 180 Hz.
Samsung also introduced a new 27-inch Odyssey 3D monitor, which provides 3D visualization without the need for special glasses. This monitor has a refresh rate of 165 Hz and a response time of 1 ms.
Regarding productivity, Samsung announced the new Smart Monitor M9 with OLED technology and AI features for image optimization. This monitor supports a refresh rate of 165 Hz and features a new ultra-thin design.
