Pebble Time 2 Introduces New Features and Design

On August 13, 2025, Eric Migicovsky, the founder of the Pebble smartwatch, unveiled the final design of the new model, which has been named Pebble Time 2. Previously, the smartwatches were planned to be named Core 2 Duo and Core Time 2, but the company decided to retain its Pebble brand.

The new smartwatch features new functionalities and an improved design. Pebble Time 2 will be available in four colors, which have not yet been disclosed, and the company plans to receive feedback from users. Among the new features: multi-color RGB backlight, a second microphone for possible noise cancellation, a compass, and a new rear cover with a thicker finish.

The smartwatch is made of stainless steel on the front and back, and also has steel buttons. The main technical specifications remain unchanged: a 64-color screen, a sensory display, a width of 22 mm, a battery life of up to 30 days, a heart rate monitor, as well as functions for detecting sound and steps.

Pebble Time 2 can be pre-ordered for $225 USD. The smartwatch connects to a smartphone via Bluetooth, allowing you to receive notifications and control music on your phone.

The company also noted that those who pre-ordered Core 2 Duo can switch to Pebble Time 2, not losing their order, but rather responding to the demand that has been sent to electronic mail.
