Rapper Kid Kudi shared his experience testifying in court against Sean "Diddy" Combs, who was accused in a lawsuit in March 2025. Kudi, whose real name is Scott Mescudi, stated that he "didn't like the vibe" of the testimony during this process.

Kudi, who briefly met with Cassie Ventura in 2011, initially declined to testify twice, but ultimately felt compelled to do so after receiving a subpoena. He stated that he was present in court to support Ventura, who claimed that Diddy had subjected her to abuse from Combs' side.

"I just wanted her to be happy and to feel good, because I knew she had gone through trauma," Kudi noted in an interview on the podcast "Call Her Daddy." He also confirmed that he was aware of Diddy's abusive behavior towards Ventura, especially since he had disclosed it to him.

In court, Kudi mentioned that his car had been vandalized after Diddy learned about his relationship with Ventura. He believed that Combs could have been involved in this incident. Diddy was charged in July 2025 with two counts in interstate prostitution and could face up to 20 years in prison.
