The Production of Components for Russian Missiles in Belarus Continues
- The Belarusian plant "Monolit" supplies components for Russian missiles.
- The plant uses equipment from the EU for the production of ceramic capacitors.
- Since 2023, Ukraine has imposed sanctions against the plant.
This is reported by Ukrayinska Pravda, Mezha.
According to investigations, the Belarusian plant "Vitebsk Plant of Radio Components Monolit" continues to produce capacitors for the Russian military industry. These capacitors are important elements in microsystems, which are used in missiles.
From 2022 to 2025, the plant shipped goods worth 40 million dollars to the company "Spec-Electronic Complex", one of the largest suppliers of electronic components for the Russian military-industrial complex. More than 96% of the plant's sales consist of ceramic capacitors, which stabilize the electric charge in microsystems. Among them are rare models K10-84, which are not produced in Russia and are used in the S-200 and S-300 systems, as well as in missiles "Iskander", "Kalibr" and X-101.
Journalists discovered that for production at the plant, machines from KEKO Equipment Ltd (Slovenia), furnaces for thermal processing from Nabertherm GmbH (Germany), and Pro-face equipment from Schneider Electric (Japan-France) are used. Since 2023, Ukraine has imposed sanctions against the "Monolit" plant, while the USA and the EU have not taken any measures.
