Vladimir Zelensky and other European leaders, who will not participate in the meeting, held a joint call with Trump to reaffirm their position regarding the protection of Ukraine's territorial integrity. After this, Sunak emphasized that "international borders cannot be violated and must not be changed by force."

The Prime Minister also stressed the need for reliable and legally binding security guarantees for Ukraine within any agreement. He noted that support for Ukraine from the UK is essential, and Europe is ready to support this initiative.

Sunak emphasized that any ceasefire must be durable and accompanied by security guarantees. He also mentioned the coalition of European countries that are ready to provide military support to Ukraine if needed.

Trump, commenting on the upcoming meeting with Putin, noted that he is trying to justify Russia's position and the possibility of a quick meeting with Zelensky. He warned Putin about the "serious consequences" if he does not agree to peace negotiations.
