Lamar Jackson has concluded the dispute with Troy Aikman regarding the trademark

  • Lamar Jackson has finished the dispute regarding the trademark with Troy Aikman.
  • The dispute concerned the use of number 8 in the trademark of FL101 company.
  • Jackson also acknowledged the use of number 8 by other individuals, including Dale Earnhardt Jr.

Quarterback Baltimore Ravens Lamar Jackson responded to attempts to block the use of number 8 by Troy Aikman’s company. This decision was made after the attorney for Jackson, Andrea Evans, submitted documents to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, confirming the closure of the case.

The dispute concerned the use of number 8 in the trademark "EIGHT", which belongs to FL101 Inc., where Aikman is one of the directors. Jackson, who wears number 8, stated that the use of this number could provoke a lawsuit among NFL fans.

In addition, Jackson earlier placed under suspicion the use of number 8 by other individuals, such as NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. Earnhardt also responded to his request regarding the trademark after Jackson acknowledged him.

The dispute with Aikman has ended peacefully, both sides decided to avoid litigation. Now Aikman’s company can use number 8 on its products, including alcoholic beverages, which are already sold under this trademark.

Currently, Jackson is preparing for the new NFL season, where the Ravens will play against the Buffalo Bills on September 7 in last year’s playoff match.
