The Dallas Cowboys once again took first place in the ranking of NFL franchise valuations for 2025 according to Sportico. The team’s valuation rose by 24% compared to 2024 and reached $12.8 billion. This marks the sixth consecutive year the Cowboys have held this position.
The Cowboys, who were purchased by Jerry Jones in 1989 for $150 million, are a testament to the remarkable increase in their valuation. Since then, their value has risen by 8433%, and Jones has earned $84.33 for each dollar invested. The team also received income from sponsorships, merchandise, and real estate.
Despite financial success, the team has not achieved significant sports results since 1995, when they last reached the Super Bowl final. In recent years, the Cowboys have only made it to the conference final once.
