UEFA Supports Children in Conflict Zones Ahead of the Super Cup

UDINE, Italy (AP) — Ahead of the Super Cup match between "Paris Saint-Germain" and "Tottenham", UEFA unfurled a banner with the message "Stop Killing Children. Stop Killing Civilians". The banner was displayed in front of the teams at the Friuli stadium in Udine.

"The message is clear," said the manager of the European football organization in a post on X. "Banner. Stop Killing".

This move comes after the UEFA Foundation for Children announced a new initiative aimed at supporting children who have suffered from war in different parts of the world, including Gaza. UEFA collaborates with organizations "Doctors Without Borders", "World Doctors" and "Handicap International", which provide essential humanitarian aid.

In addition, UEFA has previously supported projects for children affected in conflict zones in Afghanistan, Lebanon, Sudan, Syria, Yemen, and Ukraine.
