Volgograd Experienced Drone Attacks and Fires at an Oil Refinery
- The attack by drones in Volgograd led to a fire at the refinery.

In Russia, in the Volgograd region, there was a significant drone attack. According to the information from the governor of Volgograd Andriy Bocharov, the strikes caused a fire at the local LUKOIL oil refinery.
Bocharov reported that due to the drone strikes, there was an oil product spill and a fire broke out. "The firefighting services quickly began extinguishing the fire. Previously, there were no casualties," he said.
Witnesses reported that explosions began after 02:30, particularly loud in the Krasnarmeysky district of the city. In total, 5-7 powerful explosions were heard, and after the drone strikes, one of the drones caused a fire with smoke.
The telechannel Exilenova+ reported on the number of fires at the oil refinery LUKOIL. At 23:29, the Volgograd airport activated the "Kilim" plan, temporarily closing the facility for incoming and outgoing flights.
Drone Attacks in the Krasnodar Region
This is already the second night in a row that drones have attacked oil refineries in Volgograd. Also, on the night of September 13, drones struck the oil refinery in Slavyansk-on-Kuban, Krasnodar region, setting a car on fire. On September 7, drones damaged a facility in Surovikino, and on September 4, the Archida facility in Frolovo, Volgograd region.
